How does BatOnRoute’s real-time tracking work?
In order to be able to track in real time in our BatOnRoute app, it is very important that the person responsible for the route uses the Control app. Thanks to this app, this person will share their position using the GPS of their mobile device. In this way, we will be able to track it at all times while the route is active.
Once the route has ended, we will no longer be able to track it until the person in charge reactivates the route from their Control app.
Do I need to have GPS in vehicles to use BatOnRoute?
No, thanks to the BatOnRoute Control app, the GPS integrated into the mobile device is used. To share the position of the route, it is only necessary to have a mobile device on which the BatOnRoute Control app can be installed. The app is available on Android and IOS.
What level of communication do I have with families?
Centers can communicate through notifications from the admin panel. Users will receive these notifications in their BatOnRoute Moving app.
Additionally, we have a phone calling functionality. These calls are sent by the route attendant when the transport is at the stop. The user will receive this call and will hear a predefined locution indicating that the bus is close to the stop and that it can go down.
Does having BatOnRoute in the center help with audits and quality control?
BatOnRoute has a wide range of reports. Among those that can be obtained, there are reports on the duration of the routes on each day of the week. You will also be able to get reports on the users who are or are not picked up at their stops and the time they are picked up.
In addition, you will be able to check the route of the routes thanks to the GPS positions that the assistant’s device has shared. You’ll even be able to see how fast the bus has been going in each GPS position frame.
Can I modify routes according to absences or new registrations?

Do I have to confirm my route every day?
No, you only need to be registered with BatOnRoute by the day centre. If you are not registered, contact the center to have a user created and assigned the route.
Do I need to install an application?
It is not necessary, we can make communications via phone call to break the digital divide with our elderly, although if you prefer, you can install the BatOnRoute Moving app to be able to better track their journeys.
Is there an incident alerts or notifications feature?

Can I know when my family member has arrived at the centre?

Can I reach the route assistant or the center from BatOnRoute?
No, only the auxiliary or center can contact you within BatOnRoute. They will do so through notifications or communications to their email.
